Namroc Doan is an award-winning animator and filmmaker.
His creative career began as a 2D Animator for Disney, Australia. This foundation in animation would lead him to evolve as a creative across multiple disciplines which includes design, storyboarding, writing, directing, strategy and creative direction. His move to New York City would lead him to roles as a creative lead working on both animated and live-action commercials to UX motion design. Framestore, 1st Ave Machine, Facebook, Instagram, and Google are among the long list of companies he has worked for.
During his four and a half years at Facebook and Instagram, his work helped shaped the creative ways advertisers would use Facebook and Instagram. His time there garnered him 13 Cannes Gold Lions, a Webby, and a Facebook Studio Award.
As of July 2019 his short film, “Disappear” has been officially selected for the 42nd Asian American International Film Festival.
